This was written the day I learned that even forever has to end sometime. My fiance' was visiting her aunt because she needed some time away, and I wrote this the day I realized she wasn't coming back.

I wrote this one night when I got home from the club. I watched like 5 guys almost literally line up waiting to hit on the bartender. She's a friend of mine so I wrote this for her makin' fun of them. But hey, we've all been there, right? :)

Its always just been me, no band to speak of. I played a guitar for my first time at 8, then when I was 12 I bought my first electric (Squier Stratocaster) & spent the next 8 years playing everything Metallica has ever recorded. I've always liked the blues, and over the past 4 years its become an obsession. I bartend in a blues club, hang out with some of my favorite blues guitarists, and spend hours a day playing my own stuff.Have you performed in front of an audience?I've only played live once. A friend of mine who's the best guitarist I've ever heard told me I was getting up on stage one night at the club I bartend at. She grabbed a bass so I wasn't alone with strangers up there & we did a couple standard 1 4 5 blues tunes. One of the greatest moments of my life was when I went into a solo I saw these 2 girls to the left of the stage stand up & start cheering. Once we finished the set, a few people asked me what band I'm with & where we tour...that was awsome.
Your musical influences
Blues mainly...hendrix, clapton, BB King, SRV, Allman Brothers, Jonny Lang, a lot of great local & regional artists, Metallica, etc.What equipment do you use?

Hey Bill - listened to a few of your tracks, you are certainly heading in the right direction bro.
Who should you be listening to? I'd have to point you in the direction of Peter Green (the early stuff from the '70's) I think you'll enjoy him.
Constructive criticism (always hard)? Maybe phrasing/timing? I come from the less is more school (yeah, too lazy to shred ;)) But really sometimes you can say more by saying less (hence the Peter Green reference) that call and response guitar phrasing where your timing is like a singers - breaking where you would need to breath.
Anyway nice playing mate.
