
Bill Farrish
Bill has performed with: Bernard Purdie, David Garibaldi, Arthur Prysock, Ray Alexander, Jimmy Halperin, Michelle Wilson, Cecil Bridgewater, Remo, Tito Puente Jr. Farrish has also done session work for gold and platinum recording engineer Remo Leomporra jr, the band StrangeColud, QCC, Kim Novak and others.
Television credits include: Bea Moss Productions and The Carl Bruno Show - TCI Cable, TV. Bill was also featured in an independently released production “An Evening with Bill Farrish†by Raven Productions, QPTV. Bill also composed the theme and incidental music for The Park, Eun Kyung Show †Radio Seoul, Flushing NY. Bill's performance credits also include various productions of The Man of LaMancha, Lil' Shop of Horrors, Hair and Tapestry.
As an Educator: Bill has taught at Five Towns College and currently teaches advanced guitar courses at SUNY Oneonta.
Education: Private Studies Guitar with, Joe Monk, Peter Rogine and Joe Carbone. Private Studies with JoAnne Brackeen in Composition and Improvisation. 5 years researching African harmony, melody and rhythms. (Ghana and Rhodesia) BM Jazz - Five Towns College, Dix Hills, NY - concentration in Jazz performance, composition and arranging.
