New Age

Bill Cornish has balanced years of composing jazz and new age music with performing in rock bands. Heavily influenced by many styles, including jazz, orchestral and world music, he always brings his diverse musical background to bear on anything he does. His solo music is niether strictly jazz nor new age nor world music, it brings elements together from each. Think George Winston meets Mickey Hart's Planet Drum meets Shadowfax meets Bob James & Deodato. In addition to his Internet-based solo project, he can frequently be seen performing as the keyboardist for the rock group The Thomas Connor Band and the improvisational fusion group Zindu.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I am involved in multiple projects and can frequently be seen playing with bands ranging from jazz to jam to rock.
Your musical influences
Anything and everything. What grabs me in particular are jazz, world music, old-school progressive rock, orchestral music, new age and anything that doesn't fit neatly in a category.
What equipment do you use?
Sonar, Roland XP-80, Kurzweil K2600 and lots of really out-of-date stuff.
