Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Big Setup was created early 2004 with Anthony (Vocals, Guitar) looking for members to form a band around a songwriting project he had been working on for several months. Through being given contact email addresses for drummers and bass players Kyle (Drums) was found. A rehearsal was arranged a week later and took place in early January in a rented rehearsal room. Straight after the jam Kyle joined but there were no bass players found who were right for the band at the time. So Still in need of a bass player Kyle asked friend Ste Taylor (Bass) to try out and after a few hours of convincing he said yes. A jam took place the day after and straight off things clicked and he was asked to join.
Now with Taylor and Kyle on board the band started working around a few pre-written songs which Anthony had been working on. Not long after, the band started jamming alot more and coming up with songs of different styles together in the rehearsal room and decided not to make a commitement to playing shows untill they had a full set of songs which they were a 100% certain of.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes we are going to be playing live alot around the end of the 2004 and alot more in 2005, we have kinda held off a little untill we were 100% ready because we didnt wanna do things half arsed.
