BIG NEUK

brooklyn, NY  USA
October 10, 2007
BIG NEUK was born and raised in the East New York and Coney Island sections of Brooklyn, New York. As a child growing up he faced many struggles that you will hear about in his music. As a teenager there were other distractions, but he found himself drawn to the magnetic force of street music and he was hooked. From then on he craved for the microphones and began spitting his lyrics at clubs and block parties that he attended. As the culture built-up around him, his music grew at an astronomical rate. He saw and heard the lyrical styling’s of such rappers as Biggie, Tupac & Jay-Z, which left a lasting impression on him. That impression moved him to do some serious writing and recording of his own. BIG NEUK worked out of the studio of Ed Robinson, (Artist/Producer) who has worked with Snoop Dogg, Warren G, E-40, Shabba Ranks, Buju Banton, Maxie Priest, Super Cat and many more. He has showcased his talent at many Brooklyn locations such as the Buddha Bar, Brooklyn College, Rockwell’s Bar and Lounge, Galapagos Art Space and many other locations. He began further promoting himself with two releases. His first two singles were titled “Wartime,” and “When We Going Kill U” and he was featured in Spice Magazine. He has done promos for Power 105.1’s own Ed Lover and Curt, as well as collaborated with various artists such as Ticky Diamondz and Starsky. In all, BIG NEUK is arranging music with concepts that can interest the world. He feels that his music gives a sense of hope and courage. He is confident that his lyrics and dedication will help the youth realize what they can and cannot change. With his smooth style, infectious laugh and undeniable lyrics, BIG NEUK is certain that he will leave his mark in the hip hop industry that places him among the greats. Currently BIG NEUK has joined forces with Bottom Music he plans to drop his mix tape “Reaction” sometime in February 2012
