BIG KEV hails from Hampton, VA-in the section known as Buckroe. He was the first to come out the hood in VA and get a deal. Big Kev signed with LOUD records in 1999. He was on the same label as Big Pun, X-to the Z, Mobb Deep, and Wu-Tang. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I came out in 1999 on LOUD Records with the bangin single "WE CAN GET IT ON" it playing on radio everywhere-then we dropped the single FAMILY BIZNESS it was crazy as well-since I left LOUD, all I been doing was staying busy, puttin in work in the studio dropping mixtapes just about every year!! Stay performing everywhere!!!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Performing everywhere-being on tour-opened for 50 Cent, and various artists-got a crew called the Buckroe Mobb.
