Beyond Never
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Beyond Never started out as The Sags Faktor, which was comprised of poetry and spoken word set to music written by good freind Tom Jack of Diesel Theory (www.dieseltheory.com). It later evolved into post modern compositions made with Magix Music Maker 5 software. I then decided that I wanted to learn to make my own music not rely on melodies written by others. I learned basic music theory and then set out on my own to utilize this little knowledge and use it to help me achieve my childhood dream of being a musician. Cheesey, ain't it? BUt I have always been influenced by music. I can't go through the day without music playing out of the puter, cd man, or radio. So I thought I'd try my hand at making my own. And this is the result.
What equipment do you use?
I'm still a novice at this, so all I have is a Casio WK-1800, Boss DR-770 (Dr Rhythm) and my Acid Music program.
Anything else?
I don't consider myself to be a musician. Though I can write melodies and create songs, I'm more of an arranger. I combine my melodies with beats taken from my drum machine or wav files I find on the net or that came with the Acid. My end goal is to make music that you can feel. .
