With the release of last year's 3 song demo, the band was not satisfied with a mere glimpse at the band. So, in January of 2004, BETTER OFF BOUND entered their "studio" (their rehearsal room armed with a TASCAM Portastudio) and hammered out their debut CD with DISSENT RECORDS, "Just Forgotten". Formed from the ashes of several local bands, BETTER OFF BOUND takes the hard rock guitar sound of Kevin Hemphill, the ocean sized grooves laid down by drummer Rob Wojnar and bassist Matt Asbury and adds the highly political, deeply intense, introspective lyrics of Benji Hebner to give the listener a smack in the head that they never forget!Have you performed in front of an audience?Will play live for food, beer, money or no money (which we do a lot)!
