HI EVERYONE, Best of Winter has a Energetic, Indie, Pop, Emo thing going, but since none of us has any formal musical training or background, we can't figure it out, but we're young, so eventually we'll get it. After spending over a year of writing, practicing, and doing a show whenever we saw three or more people gathered together, we eventually progressed to larger towns and crowds. Recently we've played a couple shows in St. Louis and are booked for several more. "Only In The Long Run", a six song CD was released in Oct. 2003 and we will released a all new 10 song CD in late May, 2004. Listen and let us know if we are heading in the right direction. Thanks
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Since July, 2003, We probably averaged 5 Live shows per month, 6 or 7 the last 3 months. Mostly IL + MO, and we love every minute. Special Moments, yes, 1st time we heard one of our songs on the radio and 1st time we played in St. Louis.
Your musical influences
Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Saves The Day, Park, Green Day, Blink 182, Name Taken, Thrice, and thats in no particular order. In comparison to clashing guitars, ours are blending with a rythem that takes you up and down, over and over.
What equipment do you use?
Lead and Rythem guitars, Bass and Mapex Drums, with the addition of keyboards, in the near future.
