Benni B is the name. Been rappin' since I was 13, as you can see on my earliest Soundclick.com posts. I am 35 now & back at it. Got a new home studio & ballin equipment. Big things are coming soon!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started at 13 I just made a song in Cool Edit Pro over a Beanie Sigel beat & from there it took off. People loved it. I was even recruited once in Atlanta by a famous producer & artist Mr. Cheeks. I've had a few labels try to sign me, but I want to remain Independent & unsigned for now. Weigh my options.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. Many times. I performed along side Jelly Roll, Struggle, Styx, and Yelawolf way back in the day. Aint no thang!
Your musical influences
Eminem, he is hands down the most talented lyricsist in the game. Love Drake, Blackbear, The Weeknd, M.G.K, Two Chainz, Big Sean & Post Malone. My earliest influencer was actually Pharell from the Neptunez. Loved his old shit!
What equipment do you use?
aI have a Yamaha MG10XU analog mixer with a RODE NT-1a microphone & the AKG P240! Love em. Had a Behringer Q-802 but it got stolen. I record on my Macbook Pro or my HP all in one, as far as what computers I record on. I'm currently trying out different Daw's. Hard for me to get away from Cep2. I see theupside in ther new upgradable one's, but might have all I need in CEP.
