Benjamin Dewey
There is a type of music that defies categorizing. I am making it a life long hope to achieve that sort of distinction. For the time being one could say I play originals and arrangements rooted heavily in traditional American music forms like; Gospel, Blues, and Folk. I hope it is enjoyable for you.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have been playing my own music in public since the Summer of 2001.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
On occasion. Around Portland, sometimes in Cleveland, Soon California. I have not enjoyed playing out recently but I want that to change. Playing at the Aladdin Theatre and Opening for Kelly Joe Phelps at the Beachland Tavern come to mind as special
