I've been singing for 17 years and about a year back I decided to pick up a guitar so that I could sing anytime and have music to accompany me. At first I just learned other peoples songs but since I had always written my own lyrics I figured I'd give writing guitar a try too.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live wherever people will listen. My most memorable live performances have been on the streets of Japan - I've met so many people through music and made so many friends.
Your musical influences
All music influences me, whether I like what I hear or not. I think to myself "That's awesome - I hope people get the feeling I have right now when they listen to my music" or "Man, I wanna avoid sounding like that..." But really to me vocals are importand because you gotta mean what you say - even if people don't really listen to the words.
What equipment do you use?
Well when I play I just use myself n my guitar but to record I use my not so state of the art laptop, free mic that came with a desktop from the 90's and a pretty good program called Adobe Audition 2.0
