Bendall and Friend
Bendall and Friend are a songwriting partnership that goes back some 30 years.
Having been performers on the London circuit in the 70's and 80's, the pair now concentrate on writing and recording "commercial" pop/rock/dance/ballad material (Yes its diverse ! ) The portfolio of songs written now numbers in the hundreds.
Seeking interest from performers looking for songs to record, or publishers doing the same, the recordings to date are not intended to be polished renditions of a final cut, but are presented as work in progress.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We rarely play live now, but have enjoyed the usual stuff on the road .
Largest GIG ? In support of Suzi Quattro at the Southampton Gaumont in 1979 (Not really our scene, but we went down a storm in front of 3000 kids!)
Your musical influences
Pop , Rock , Soul, Ballads, Van Morrison, James Taylor, Jamiroquai,Coldplay, Billy Joel, Ultravox,Boomtown Rats, James Brown. you name it , melody is the key.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha synth, ovation acoustic, fender bass, Zoom d10 harddrive recorder

After many years of songwriting , this is the first time we have posted on the web , have a listen to us and tell us what you think , we know we ain't perfect , but we are prolific, writing 1 or two songs per week now.
