My name is Ben Brenton, I'm a seventeen year old musician currently living in Cambridge, England. I've been playing the guitar for a few years now, but also sing and play the piano. I began playing musical instruments when I got involved with a part-time music school that my mum ran quite a few years ago. Over this time, I have played the cello, piano and guitar, which is currently my primary instrument, although I'm interested in many different types of instrument, including the bass, drums, piano and strings (cello, violin) since these feature mainly in the music I listen to.Have you performed in front of an audience?I don't usually play live since I hardly ever get things right on one try.
Your musical influences
I enjoy a wide range of bands/artists, with genres ranging from acoustic based Jack Johnson to electro-rock band Electronic, and as far back as The Beatles in 1960s to The Red Hot Chili Peppers today. Other artists who have inspired my musical tastes and who had inspired me to write are Pink Floyd, The Pet Shop Boys, Green Day, The Shadows and Cat Stevens (but I'm not suggesting my music is in any way as good as theirs!)What equipment do you use?
Mainly my guitar and keyboard, which can double up as any other instrument I need, including a drum machine.Admin
