Welcome to the Begotten Enterprise. Take a deep breath as you step aboard, because once those doors slam shut, there is no turning back. Our destination? The planet Cybertron, for deep within their mystic mines lie extreme levels of Energon, a life source providing ancient musical inspiration and the power to develop sounds that will change and shape nations.
Naaaah, just playin' with you, fools! We just go with the brooding and suspenseful story because it happens to sound way cooler than "Suburban white guy is running a cheap home recording studio out of his parents' basement".
But this basement holds more than just a cheap recording studio... it holds a dream. Nay, a vision.
What is our goal here? We want to do music the way it used to be done. We don't want to make it all about the money, and all about clamoring for that fame, fame, fame. And the reason we don't want fame is NOT because we aren't good enough, thank you very much.
We want to have fun making music, because that's how the best music comes to fruition in the first place. We won't be breathing down your neck about studio fees and all that bull while you're trying to lay down some tracks. Fees and money and debt are heartbreakers and dealbreakers for many up-and-coming musicians. We get that. So let's let money issues wait until later. Let's finish your track first.
With dirt cheap rates and an atmosphere that has been lovably described as "livable at best," the Begotten Enterprise Studio is dedicated to giving you the tools you need to get heard on a more professional level.
So contact us at alex@begottenenterprise.com or (567) 868-9968 to ask about our studio rates, our policies, or even to request a CD consultation. We're ready and willing to help you make hot hits without totally breaking the bank.
Need some beats? We've got you covered there, too. Buy non-exclusive rights to instrumentals at $9.99 a pop! Better deals can't be found!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
One of the Begotten Enterprise Productions artists, MC Sykosis, plays shows on a very inconsistent basis. Basically, whenever somebody calls him up, he tries to get the day off work. If that works, he plays a show.
MC Sykosis shows are said to be "fairly above average" and "a little better than the people that opened up first". He has a fog machine, and a green laser. Actually, he doesn't have the green laser anymore, because it was a cheap piece of shit. Oh, well. There's definitely still a fog machine. So you should come.
Special moments are any time during a show when you realize there are people in the crowd that you don't know at all on a personal level, who seem to be digging what you do. MC Sykosis strives to make more and more people feel that way about his music. Soooo.... book him for a show!
