Ha, good to know you are still alive! Thanks for the comment (I'm always a bit uncertain about my vocals; so the positive reaction is very much appreciated). Sorry about the 4 minutes; I just had the cut the song there to save it... the rest was total crap. Btw, I just listened to Raising a Chalice to Sad Eyes... I really like the atmosphere. Helaas kon ik niets van het Vlaams verstaan... the vocals are more like an instrument than that they tell you something.. but it suits the music very well. (As if my vox are always clearly intelligible... lol) Greetings

Well, I played some of your stuff on my radio show. Right after a twisted Charlie Manson interview. Mixed with another artist from soundclick at the same time, just so you know. http://thefalsegods.livejournal.com has a show playlist and download links for you. And I've downloaded some stuff by Until Death Overtakes Me, I think, but I think I must have liked your stuff here a lot more.

Hypnotech, first of all thanks for the comments and the constructive feedback, that's what this site is all about! You're right, most of these tracks are more of an experiment, e.g. the dry drums in Grievous. I must admit though that I hardly if ever finish a song because I quickly grow tired of my own creations. And if you were already impressed by BtCA, I could only recommend you to listen to Until Death Overtakes Me (also here on soundclick). Best regards, Ruben

Awesome sound. If nobody else is doing music like this, they should be. My only complaint is sometimes you put things in that seem to take away from the sound. Like that calliope-type sound at about 4 minutes into "Raising a Chalice", or the drums with no reverb at the start of "Greivous". But maybe that's because you just posted these tracks before you were finished producing them? Anyway, even that doesn't take away much from these tracks. Love your stuff, keep doing more of this! I have to download all this stuff now for my radio show.

Hello, Just like to say that your music is very dark and emotionally intrepid stuff it makes me feel as if I am trapped in a dark purgatory for a single isolated eternity

Highly disconcerting Ambient art here. The music is so morbid, the pace, the depth of the music and the distant, foreboding vocals immediately relinquish any positive emotion and bring the listener into an isolated state of bleak depression.

Hollow Heart: thanks, first of all for checking out my music, and secondly for the positive comments! Epicus: I'm glad you like the vocals, it was just an experiment :-) I'll make some time tomorrow to download and listen to your music.

Awesome stuff. Very creepy. I love the whispered voices and various effects. Thanks for starting the Doom Band thread in the forums. Check out my stuff if you have a chance.

Thanks for the kind words, especially about the atmosphere, that's indeed what I wanted! Nice idea about the soundtrack, unfortunately I don't have a movie to go with it ;-) By the way, good to see other one-man metal bands here on Soundclick!
