Forming fully in early August, Bedroom Enjoyment has found themselves revolving as musicians, as well as performers in the local scene. They have played shows at local venues, and hope to play at larger venues in the future. The Vocals of "the two Mark's" have added a certain curve to the music, and not to mention Mike on the wonderful Hondo, backed by the female percussion of Mark Dee's Little Sister,Katherine. The public has seemed to accept B.E. with open arms, and now they are trying their best to fulfill their duties as local performers.Band/artist history
It all started in Doc C's biology class at good ol' St. L. Mark E and Mark D were talking about homo-riffic things as Doc C was unsuccessfully teaching the class. Part of the discussion pertained to creating a homocore based music style, called "The Side Project."
Mark D knew a kid named Josh, who was the origional drummer for "the side project." After Mark D quit his prior band, he decided that "the side project" would no longer be a "side project." As Mark, Mark, and Josh sat in Josh's garage, Mark E was looking around for influences for a band name. He saw an outdoor fire pit box, and hence came the name, "Outdoor Enjoyment." As things turned out, Josh moved on to St. Petersburg, FL and was never seen again.
Mark E knew a kid named Mike who could hardly, and still can hardly, play the hondo (guitar). He would randomly show up to our practices, though we really did not want him, and still dont want him, around. Eventually, we let him bring over his stuff and he tried out. Though he sucked, and still does, we decided to let him be a part of the Outdoor Enjoyment experience. It was the biggest mistake of our lives.
As time went on, we got nothing done. We played without a drummer. We would play our own bootlegged shows over the phone for people. Everytime Mark E wrote a song, Mike said it was S-H-I-T. "It needs to be more punk, get rid of that everclear..." Mike would say. We got tired of playing with no drummer, so we decided to let Katherine, Mark D's sis, try out. She did, and everyone agreed that she was in.
So then, Outdoor Enjoyment was formed. People thought the name was gay (Kevin Meskill), so he said it should be "Bedroom Enjoyment." We all agreed. We decided to make him our manager. Later, he went to fulfill his dreams as a ballerina.
Since then, we've written songs and played a few shows. Everything's been pretty peachy. That's about it.Have you performed in front of an audience?Bedroom Enjoyment has been most known for playing at the Lighthouse Cafe. It has a good sound to it, and the space isn't too bad. The one special moment that stands out in the band members' memories is seeing the crowd sing along to the songs for the first time.

We've been dippin the brush in a few genres from the pop punk roots of Blink-182, to the more funky/jazzy roots of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.What equipment do you use?
