Becca Kaid is a singer/songwriter from Effingham Illinois. Becca's debut album "Love Is," on Hobo Fence Records, is due to be released in the Summer of 2004. Becca currently performs over 100 dates a year throughout the Midwest with her band Poprocks.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, we play all over the Midwest. Your musical influences
Our influences are too many to mention. We love rock artists like the Bodeans and Sheryl Crow. We also love the Pretenders and Pat Benetar. Anyone listening will be able to hear bits and pieces of all these people, but mixed together for a sound all our own.What equipment do you use?
For this album we tried to keep it very rootsy. A classic combo type of feel. Guitars, bass (acoustic and electric), drums, Hammond and piano.Anything else?
