Be A You
Be A You is a group of 5 kids that came together because we were tired of being just normal. The band has its mind on the world, and hopes to pursue this goal. The guys in the band hang out all the time and always have music on their minds.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The idea of the band came after Steve(vocals), Jay(lead guitar/backup), and Jake(rhythm/backup) went to a Flogging Molly/Authority Zero concert and thought of starting a band. The hardest part was finding a bassist who would want to play the style they were looking for. Dylan(drums) was introduced to the band by his sister telling Steve he plays drums. Last came Kyle(bass) this happened when Steve was thinking of people to play bass. We are working on recording and setting up as many concerts as we can in areas local to us, and many places where we could be heard away from here.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We live to play live. We will play anywhere we possibly can, and would like to play bigger venues. Being on the stage is the greatest feeling to know people like your music. Many special moments happen on stage.
Your musical influences
Everyone in the band has different influences - from pop punk, to hardcore, to metal, to punk, to classic rock.... anything rock these kids listen to it.
