Rock n Roll

Beau Burton brings his own brand of Roots and Blues base

Rock music from a place where styles are intrenched in the

southern U.S. mixed in with a gumbo of tradition.

Respect for the artists that influenced him

receive a tip of the hat.

Band/artist history

Beau Burton got his musical training in the Bars

on Honky Tonks of south Texas. Starting his musical life out as a drummer, Beau has played shows and performed with some of the greatest

acts in from the american music scene. including Billy Jo Shaver and Willie

Nelson, Leon Russell, Waylon Jennings, The Smith Brothers frontman Robbie G. ,Wayne Toups and Zydecajuin ,Jesse Dayton Little Joe and Lafamila, and Van Wilks in a short list.

Have you performed in front of an audience?

I enjoy playing out of doors where people let it

all hang out. Honky Tonks and creekside Bar-b-Ques are my favorite. Lots of times I'll just

get in my truck and go to Luckenbach or Austin

and set in on a jam somewhere.

Your musical influences

Beau's influences are Jimi Hendrix (Band of Gypsys), Eric Clapton (Cream), Carlos Santana, Eddie Shaver, Billy Gibbons

Robin Trower, Buddy Guy (the Man), local guys

like Danny Cowan (who is as good as anybody

that ever pick on six strings) and lets not forget Stevie Ray. These are the guys that influence my guitar playing. But overall my

songwriting desire was fueled by The Beatles,

John Hyatt, John Fogerty Billy Jo Shaver and Jazz players like

Miles Davis.

What equipment do you use?

I use Sunn Model T Marshall and Fender Black Face

amps, Telecasters, a 1971 SG Professional with

P-90's and a Rocktron Chameleon.
