Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Started making beats in '96 with a DOS program called Fast Tracker 2. Since then moved to other software like Fruity Loops etc, but soon grew frustrated of the lack of "hands-on" feel. Moved to hardware sequencer and sampler, combined with software for post-production.
Your musical influences
Just a note that my beats don't necessarily sound like my influences. Big influences were Tribe Called Quest, Roots, Tunnel Rats, Dr. Dre (for his beats), Dert (for his beats), LMNO (fav to this day) to name a couple.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha RM1x, Yamaha a4000, and software.
