I am Pep, a 20 year old beatmaker & rapper from Ghana,Africa.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started making beats in 2017 when I realised I had a passion for rapping(I was terrible), after watching some tutorials, I practiced daily till I was happy with my beats. Unfortunately I lost all my beats after my laptop got damaged, after getting a new pc I quickly went back to the grind.
I decided I was confident enough to share my beats with the world, so in 2022, I uploaded my first beat on YouTube and SoundClick.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not yet.
But I hope to perform one day when i start releasing my own music
Your musical influences
I am mainly influenced by Hip-hop and Ghanaian Hi-life.
Kanye West, Timberland, DJ Premier and Dr.Dre are a few of my favourite producers of all time.
I also draw inspiration from producers such as Metroboomin, Southside, Lex Luger and Young Chop.
808 Melo, AXL Beats, Wheezy, TnTXD and GuiltyBeatz are also in my rotation daily

I use an HP laptop and BeatsbyDre headphones
