Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
After working as an executive producer in the music industry for more then a decade, Tomyboy founded Beatnecks Productions in 2001. A year later Padmore joint him as an Engineering Co-Producer. Right from the beginning, they have focused on international productions with various artists, as well as their own releases.
Over the years Beatnecks built up a remarkable credibility, because they have created their own characteristic sounds and beats, rather then copying mainstream samples as many others.
In 2006 Beatnecks started collaborating with independent filmmaker Boris Castro, which opened a new field working with motion picture. The authentic visuals of the documentarian fitted right into their style.
