Beat Down Destroyers
In music only one thing matters, strength. The Beat Down Destroyers are the toughest band around. The mix the bruteness of Don Reinholdt with '77 punk rock.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Beat Down Destroyers formed in early 2003 to combat the evils of sloth, obesity, and general poor nutrition. Their mission is to turn the masses onto the joy of beat downs and iron pumping. Armed with biceps averaging 18" plus of angus beef, the Beat Down Destoyers combined the sound of '77 with the brutal intensity of Bill Kazmaier. These traits are combined with the uncontrollable spastic powerbar driven endurance, spiked with extreme ignorance of our physical well being. The Beat Down Destroyers can take any type of punishment whether its in the gym or on the stage. The Beat Down Destroyers consist of Classic Build, Downtown Biscep Brown, Buff and Deadlift.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We live in Stevens Point. We like it except for the lack of proper gyms. No Gold's Gyms or similar places. We have to settle for the college gym or the YMCA.
