INTRODUCTION:
Hey... This is Ameen. I've been doing this music thing independently as a hobby for a few years. I took a long 7 year hiatus but I'm back... It's been too long and I'm ecstatic to return. A lot of the music here is old and I am planning on adding more in the months to come.
ABOUT ME:
I am of Nigerian descent, and I'm proud of it. I'm a 20 year old, well determined, self motivated, African American and a Third Year Civil Engineering Major at The University of Cincinnati. Music is my hobby, I will be taking it very seriously during the completion of my second album.

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
As of now, I'm trying to promote my own Production Enterprise called "FLYP DA BYRD PRODUCTIONS". With "FlyP da Byrd" I've created the following projects: BIFF MIXES I-IV and a few exclusively released mixtapes called "EETYERBEENZ", and "The Pre-Brew Mixtape".
Future projects consist of a project called "JUSKUMONWIT" which will be a release of work I've done from the years 2005-2015.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
The only LIVE events that I have done are some competitions on campus back in school, and some open mics at cafe shops, and etc.
Your musical influences
Well... I have many musical influences, from many different types of music. My afro-jazzy influence comes from FeLa kuti, I love Jill Scott, the Rat-Pack, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and the list goes on.
I love Digable Planets, MoBB DeeP, Aesop Rock, A Tribe Called Quest, Erykah Badu, Boot Camp.
