Andersongs CDs are created by me playing piano, bass, and various other instruments. A large part of the diversity of the instrumentation is by using MIDI and instrument synthesis. All parts were played and sung by me over the last 40 years. A majority of the lyrics were written by my brother, with me contributing a few as I was inspired.Band/artist history
My music background is a long one but as I will readily say it is as an educated amateur. I was never able to leave music as it gave me such satisfaction, as well as much frustration. I started as a tuba player in elementary school, adding electric bass in 1969 and acoustic bass in 1971, playing all three in college. I've played in many bands throughout the years, ranging from a 20-piece big band to 3-4-5-9-piece rock bands. I have also played in country, jazz, and orchestral groups. I simply like to play, especially if there is a good, confident drummer in the band. I also have sung in many church choirs, university choir, mens choir and octet, and was the cantor at my church in Wisconsin.Your musical influences
