Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We've all been doing our thing seperately for years. It wasn't until 2002 that we decided to get together as a collective.
Redi Brown started C.I. Entertainment as the record label, while Luvon put Bastardz Alley together to serve as the production company.
We really just wanted to control our own music, but one thing led to another, and now we have a network of businesses doing everything from artist development to graphic design.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We've done shows all over the Tri-State area and it's great. The way people respond to the music is incredible.
Your musical influences
We grew up listening to KRS-ONE, Gangstarr, LL Cool J, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Eric B & Rakim, NWA, MC Lyte... all the old school HipHop greats.
