I'm 1 half of the production team known as The Cuzinz. I'm also a D.J./recording engineer/technician/advisor...the list goes on a while, for WurldWyde. A group currently working out of Springfield, Missouri. My style is VERY diverse, but I was always interested in bass type music. I use my diversity and years of experience to create bass deeper, louder, and more complicated than ever before. Combined with samples and original works that haven't been used with this type of music before. Feel free to use my stuff to test car audio components, or in competition. You won't find better bass, I promise.
Band/artist history
I've been working with music since I was about 9 years old. I hung around in West End studio in Kansas City, Mo. (where I'm from), and other places, giving suggestions and so on. I've got A LOT of years behind me in this buisness. I've had the pleasure of working with artists like Montel Jordon, Ice Cube, The World Famous Platters, Tech N9ne, just to name a few. I do all of my own recording, mixing, and engineering work. I love what I do, and don't have any wish to do anything else (except maybe movies).
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Not currently. I have in the past with my group WurldWyde, but it's been a while for us.
Your musical influences
When D.J. Magic Mike, and D.J. Jimi came out in the late 80's, early 90's I was hooked on bass, but I grew up on old school stuff like Al Green, Roger Troutman, Marvin Gaye. I really dig the old school sound and I use that in my stuff.
What equipment do you use?
A PC I built myself (I do that too) ACID Pro, Sound Forge (couldn't live without it) Pretty much all of the Sony Media Software. I've been using there stuff for years now and I LOVE it. Other than the PC I take sounds from any equipment I can get my hands on, keyboards, drum machines, movies, whatever I can get my hands on.
Anything else?
Be true to whatever music (or whatever you do) you make. Don't let some record executive tell you what the public will buy. They are NOT always right. Don't be a puppet.
