see thats what im tryna let people see... hiphop is not just BLACK culture... just cuz im white doesnt mean my parents and their parents haven't had to face the same struggles as other peoples parents... my ancestors never owned slaves, so i dont necessarily consider myself to be the same as most over-previlaged white kids... but theres a lot of over-privelaged black kids in some of the areas here, too... we dont live in the world of our fathers... we live in their dreams, and we live in a world where poor white kids live on the same block and get joked on for having busted sneakers just like all the other black kids... and the same way, those kids either choose to deal with it and become somebody by working hard to get out instead of taking that hand of the stre
