Barry the Raging Wolf Taft
March of the Warfish March of the Warfish
This is another thing I did for that short film, the only reason I'm putting these up, though, is because I think they can stand on their own. I think this sounds pretty badass.
The Warfish Jam The Warfish Jam
This is a groovy (I hope) little bit I wrote to accompany some scenes in a short film I've been making, I needed to get this film done, and unfortunately I've been rushed and left unsatisfied with it, but this sounds good I think.
Underground V. Underground V.
The spoken words are Dostoevsky from chapter five of his Notes From Underground. So it's not emo bullsh***. it's set over my attempt at good drone metal... I don't know if I pulled it off as a cohesive unit, but I like it.
Symposium Symposium
I'm taking a really cool philosophy class, so all my thinking is peppered with it... a symposium is a big greek party where they made it a goal to discuss something important until the wee hours.
The Corona The Corona
The Corona is the layer of the sun above the chromosphere that's only visible during a complete solar eclipse. it's about a million degrees K.
Spawning an Infernal Behemoth Spawning an Infernal Behemoth
Uber Metal, complete with guitar duel, totally epic parts, and some exotic wholetone bits. There's a nerd game I play called Nexus War online. This song is about spawning on the nexus as a demon, fast paced battle, then dying at the hands of angel
Prelude in C Major Prelude in C Major
This is me playing a short bach prelude, for my german class.
My Sidekick is El Reverso My Sidekick is El Reverso
(the secret is that it's backward!)
in the Key of Funky in the Key of Funky
This reminds me of a guy a see playing a stick on the Santa Monica Promenade all the time. It's pretty mellow. Pretty smooth I think. Pretty, dare I say, funky?
Life and Death of the Long Forgotten Life and Death of the Long Forgotten
Heavy guitars accentuated against a nice song, it gets shreddy in the middle I promise.
Fallen Fallen
harmonics and distortion and passion and this could be straight out of a movie sound track. Feel the urge to yell "NOOOOOOOOO!"? Then you probably like this song.
Tigers in the Hills Tigers in the Hills
This song is basically the same as revenge of the leppar in it's construction I tried a couple lead bits over the rhythm that I recorded previously.
Battle in the Kingdom Battle in the Kingdom
This is as much chaos as could possibly fit into four tracks of guitar with pretty much the same tone. I guess the king did some messed up stuff.
Revenge of the Leppar Revenge of the Leppar
I recorded the rhythm track without any idea of the lead guitar. I tried a couple different lead parts and this is the one that turned out the best.
