Alone in my room with an acoustic at first. Then some guy taught me to play bass. I joined a few groups in college and after, playing hard rock and alternative. Along the way, I recognized Christ as King. I'm still trying to figure out how and where to change in order to conform more closely to His image. And what doesn't need to change. And what to discard totally, or add. Should all my music be happy and uplifting? Or should it reflect my experience of how hard I've made it to follow Jesus? I don't have the answers. He does.
