Chain Chain
cross aint over yet! were BAPOW HATZ! (speak it "bapoe") from the idyllic capital wiesbaden (Germany) and were by no means a bunch of newcomers.
Band/artist history
founded by guitarist oliver noerdlinger and bassist dieter greffrath, the band was at first meant to be a purely instrumental project. but quickly, we evolved to a song-oriented groove-rock band in classic three-piece formation. our first demo "white boys making black noise" earned widespread recognition and excellent press. in between the original drummer was replaced by the bands long-time friend frank bodenheimer. our first full-length cd "G.H.T.B." is produced and shows off our abilities with a smash: a tight, pounding rhythm section, shredding guitar, memorable hooks and tons of monster groove turn this disc into a crossover-freaked-out-funk-metal highlight of the stellar kind. with this production, signed by Goodlife-Records, we prove that we deserve respect from even the most established names in the industry. combining rock, metal, funk, hip-hop and reggae in songs that are this powerful and inventive, paired with uniquely creative interpretations of some known classics proves it once again: anything goes, nothing is permitted . except sitting still!!!
