Solo Piano Music by Swedish pianist Christian Lindquist. Soft, calm and airy.
Quiet solo piano that is full of warmth and emotion.
Relaxed & a bit dreamy. The pianist's own instrumental spiritual meditation.
The Solo Piano Diary http://www.solopianodiary.com is the main concept.
Christian "Solo Piano" Lindquist. The story behind:
I have always liked the sunrise, the freshness of an early morning. That has also become my time and very often I sit down and play my piano. I push record and play until the inspiration is out.
“Solo Piano Diary” is about my feelings, mood and my hunger for expression. Playing in a diary form is a quest for honesty, where suddenly the tone that was insipid yesterday is inspired today. The piano diary has become a way for me to verify my soul and to whittle truth out of my heart. The melodies are therefore a profound mix of pain and of peace.
I play solo piano music because it makes me feel good.
The solo piano concerts of Keith Jarrett is my major musical influence. The parts where he is melodic and not playing "off-style" is amazing and there is no one even close to his tonality.
David Foster have provided music and one of his first records has a final solo piano tune, it was my first real awakening.
Yamaha.
