After only six short months together, Dublin band The Kinetiks are gaining a rapidly diffusing reputation for supplying lovers of indie rock and roll with a great night of infectiously captivating live music. Front man and songwriter Gaz Harding along with Sean Brennan (Guitar), Jim McGuire (Bass) and Jon McIntosh (Drums) manage to blend trashy, raw, retro, head stomping rock songs like A Smile'd Crack Your Face and Krazy Karl (about a nuts Grafton Street busker) with the catchy hooks, pop melodies and sweet, naive lyrics of tunes like The Bop Bop Song and Alleyway Love. In The Kinetiks you will hear echoes of the jagged, gutsy, big drums sound of The White Stripes, as well as the snappy, memorable sub three-minute pop tunes of early tracks by The Who and The Kinks.
