When I started putting the production of 'Easy' together I was thinking 'minimalistic' and I really like the way it came out. Because of the minimal backing the vocal really jumps out.
This song is waiting for accompaniment. Hopefully it won't drag quite as much with some instrumentation and maybe backing vocals to keep the listener occupied during lulls in the vocals.
The similarity of this song to Canon in D by Pachelbel was unintentional and was not realized until after I had recorded the vocals and most of the instrumentation.
A song I started writing back in 2001 for my then girlfriend and finished in 2006 for my now wife. The casual listener might not understand the lyrics but my wife does and that's all that counts, right?
Hey Matt it’s Jakester from the song writing forum. I have been preoccupied with some real live endeavors, but just starting to get back into the music stuff again. Anyway I was just going through old links on my sound click page and saw the two new songs you have posted. "I Want Out" and "Uncertainty" Outstanding stuff, as usual man.
Just outstanding all around, another fantastic song.
Very good songs!!!!!!!! You do great work, enjoyed listening.
Man, I STILL love Lullabye. This song is golden! I'd love to be able to record it myself.
