They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter. Job:24:8 Be thou my strong shelter, where I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress. Psalms:71:3

Story behind the song
I wrote this song years ago when I was struggling through a great and trying ordeal. In hindsight I now understand that it was the best thing that ever happened to me because of the peace and contentment that I found.
Lyrics
Was lonely before I knew my own name Been sad since the loneliness came Was lost when I opened my eyes Been afraid since I could realize That I'm living a nightmare of pain And I can't find my way from the rain Was old well before I was young Heard songs that have never been sung Was leaving long before I'd arrive Feel dead but they say I'm alive So I'm living a nightmare of pain And I can't find my way from the rain I'm lost and I can't find my way The cost is outrageous today If I could well I'd just hide away But there's no place to go When you're out in the snow Been searching but I don't know what for I'm hungry but I can't eat anymore Feel tired when I wake from my sleep I'd cry but I can't even weep So I'm living a nightmare of pain And I can't find my way from the rain
