Morgueazm does not stay within just one genre, Morgueazm does not get trapped within just one style. Morgueazm is diverse. The only things you can be assured of are that Morgueazm will terrify you with their visions of horror, they will entrap you with their addictive sound, they will leave you smiling at their macabre humour, they will seduce you in to wanting more.
Morgueazm were formed mid 2001 by ex-Blood Money members Gramie Dee and Brett Avok. Blood Money were a fairly successful underground thrash metal band between 1985 and 1987 releasing two albums on the Ebony Records label, 'Red Raw and Bleeding' (1986) and 'Battlescarred' (1987) and gained a respectable fan base by touring and gigging at their own expense. When Gramie created an official web site for Blood Money http://www.angelfire.com/rock2/bloodmoney in early 2001 he and Brett were amazed at the response from old fans everywhere who remembered them, and received numerous e-mails from as far as Spain enquiring if another album would be released. Because Blood Money were long gone, it was decided to form a new band out of the ashes of Blood Money, and Morgueazm were born. A band that draws on it's influences of thrash metal, but also injecting elements of death and techno to give a fresh and different sound to their brand of metal.
Morgueazm is strictly a studio band at present as the distance between band members is not practical for gigging together. But this does not mean that things will not change in the future.
Morgueazm's main style of music is loud, heavy, raucious metal. Though they do like to inject different styles. That's why you will hear influences of death, thrash and even techno creeping in there.
Um... musical instruments.
Morgueazm currently has two full length albums; "Fun With Formaldehyde" and "Multiple Morgueazms" with a third on the way. Check out the website at www.morgueazm.co.uk for details.
