Hallowmas is a horror/rock band with enough guts and chunks to keep you coming back for more. With the release of their debut album, "October Burning," in the Fall of 2004, the band has just begun their onslaught of terror. This group of ghouls features Boris Randall on vocals, Damien Matthews on guitar, Johnny Coffin on bass, and K.C. Slitthroat on drums. As songwriter and driving force behind the band, Boris sites inspiration for Hallowmas as roots in Pagansim, early horror films, and as a vehicle to pay tribute to the dead, and to death.
Boris came from ledgendary horror/punk band The Splatterpunks, as did Johnny Coffin, which had a life span from 1989 through 1999. After some time off, re-grouping, and re-organizing, Hallowmas was born in the Fall of 2002. Since then, it's been a whirlwind of shows, videos, two independant singles, an indy EP, a filming for television, release of the debut album, and non-stop shows coming with the release of an EP on Coffin Records and an indy single on the band's own lable, Pagan Record Club.
We play anywhere and everywhere. Wherever Hallowmas is wanted is where we go.
Boris points out artists who have influenced the entire sound of Hallowmas, as oppossed to each member as Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Samhain, Ramones, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and Rock N' Roll!
Shure, Gibson, B.C. Rich, Yamaha, and we're seeking endorsements.
Hallowmas is for anyone who appreciates good music and true intent and sincereity. We don't cut corners and try not to re-hash too much of what's already been done in Rock.
