Although he had written music and sound effects for various performance art pieces, a need to return to live performance was acute. Jonathan was at a club one rainy evening when he was asked by dj Noise to perform at an upcoming . Not having any songs or a band name, Jonathan promptly answered YES. The following day, Dissociate was born. Having been co-host of The Descent on since 1997, jonathan had been exposed to a vast array of electronic and industrial stylings.
