Written on spec in response to a listing looking for a song to be played in a car commercial and reintroducing a global auto brand. I incorporated the client's suggested lyrical themes: "Positive change, a new day, what a difference a year makes, growth, progress, getting better, improving, changing looks, a better view, this is the day" They did not want anything too supercharged or too slow. I decided to write in a current Pop-Rock vein--perhaps similar to Coldplay/Foo Fighters.
