Hi, I'm Milty. I've been away from Soundclick for a long time but I'm going to try and be around a bit more often.
I'm an instrumentalist/producer who enjoys making and listening to good, groovy music with a strong backbeat. I'm based in Bermuda but have had the oppurtunity to be based in and play in Boston and London. I am also a former student of Berklee College of Music.
Music has always been the most constant thing in my life and I am grateful for everything that it has afforded me. I make no money from it (I have in the past) but it is not about making money. For me, it is about getting a message across to people no matter what it is, whether with words or just a strong backbeat.
This is my music.
Enjoy!
ps - I've also put a track from my old band, SoHep, on here.
Not as a solo artist.
I've always been the jam session whore. I used to learn other peeps set lists and sit in every now and then.
My four biggest keyboard influences: Steve Winwood, Tony Banks and Stevie Wonder. I don't sing but I love the instruments on each of these four artists' records.
I'm also influenced a bit by newer artists like Zero 7, The Chemical Brothers and Moloko. I hope some of these influences shine thru at some point.
Yamaha Motif 8, Korg Polysix, Korg X3, Korg Poly-800, Apple iBook G4, Logic Express, Helix Firewire board and a lot of luck!
Let me know what you think.
