I grew up listening to my dad play folk music on his guitar around the campfires. Old WWII and Train songs along with Jim Croce and John Denver. Fun stuff that I still love singing and enjoy playing now. I've always sang, and I picked up the guitar in September '09. Music is therapy, love, loss, and pretty much life! All I want is to have music in my life, I hope that you find something here you like and can enjoy listening as much as I enjoy making it.
Just an open mic here or there, perhaps a little busking, and then of course around the campfire and on my front porch. I want to be good enough to play live somewhere someday!
Everything except for Rap. Folk music, memories of my dad playing and singing, country, women that can belt it out and still sound beautiful, loves and losses and the feelings that go with it.
Zoom H2 - Martin 000-15M - and Audacity. Cheap and Free is the way to go when you don't have money to spend on awesome equipment! :)
I feel funny filling out an artist bio... I guess I don't think of myself that way... I'm just a gal playing some music and wouldn't mind if someone wanted to download a song or two and send me a few cents for it... but someday... someday... I wouldn't mind if someone threw me more than a few cents. Do what you love and love doing it... if you can find a way to make money at it all the better, but if not, at least you're still loving what you're doing!
