An award-winning Singer/Songwriter, Diana Chance has her eyes on the stars and her feet planted firmly on the ground. Committed to success on her own terms, Diana established her own company, Diamond Hearts Entertainment, to give herself full creative reign over her career in every area - from image, to message, to sound and beyond. Diana’s goal is to establish her credibility as an artist without compromising her integrity as a person.
Diana, who has spent time in Mexico, New York, Vancouver and Toronto, has a richly textured tapestry of a life. Her diverse experiences give her music a depth and intensity unexpected in such a young performer. Diana believes that her music helps her explore her feelings, and to evolve into a better, more compassionate person. She also hopes that her artistry will have a positive influence on the world around her, teaching people that love and understanding are at the heart of the human experiencethe thing that makes life worth living.
Born in April 30 1980, Diana is a native of Hermosillo, SO, Mexico. She was known as the “gifted” child with a flair for language and a passion for music. She gave her first public performance at the tender age of 3, when a nationally acclaimed performer came to present a show for children.
The eager 3-year-old didn’t think twice before jumping on stage when a talent contest was announced. After she took 1st place Diana asked, “Can I sing another song and win another record?” she recalls. That determined confidence continues to serve her well in all aspects of her life.
The contest was a life-changing experience. “Even today, I still remember the satisfaction I got from performing in front of an audience. Making people happy brought tremendous joy in my heart.” Her career was officially underway. She was soon seen on the local TV station and in performances at her school.
In 1995, Diana’s mother decided to move her then Mexico-based family to Canada. Diana became deeply involved with all the performance opportunities being offered singing, dancing, writing, etc. Today, Diana enjoys the result of years of hard work and dedication, having grown into a very talented Songwriter and Music Producer.
Diana Chance doesn’t dream of becoming a “star” something distant, untouchable, and unreachable. Instead, she hopes to become a force you can count on the friend who will always be there whenever you need her.
