An experienced songwriter and lyricist, I’ve written original songs covering such genres as folk, blues, and pop. Currently I’m releasing an independent Christian contemporary album in May entitled "Growing in Grace: Hope for Haiti", with all of the proceeds going to an orphanage in Cap Haitian. Never discovered, I’m currently a 43 year old businessman. I’m joined on "Shining Star" by co-writers Angela Knight, of the Washington Opera Company, and John Kunu, an experienced pianist and arranger from Washington D.C.
I use the Digidesign Digi 002 suface control with Pro Tools LM 7.1 on a Windows XP Desktop unit. I use a number of RTAS plugins, including "Strike" for my vitual drummer, XPAND! for strings, piano and percussion, and Reason Adapted for various loops and synths. I use a M-Audio Axion 49 midi controller, and use a Washburn acoustic and a PRS CE 24 for most of my guitar work.
My valued collaborators are Angela Knight, of the Washington Opera Company, John Kunu (Pianist and arranger) and Paul Schmitz (kick ass bass player).
