I started playing guitar when I was 13 and now have been playing, writing and recording music for around 30 years. I am for the most part a self taught guitarist but I spent a year (2009-2010) at The Musicians Institute (GIT) in Hollywood, CA to further hone my skills and break bad habits. In my mid-20's I traveled to Las Vegas and wrote, performed and produced the soundtrack for an independent film called "Fighting the Muse" which was a lot of fun but unfortunately the movie never went anywhere.
This is a small example of some of my solo music that I created a while back in my very modest home studio. I was also formally trained in Audio Production at The Art Institute Of Seattle.
All the songs that have drums use a crappy Korg drum machine (with the exception of "Easier Lost Than Found" which features my friend Britt Laswell on drums) and keyboard bass, but I write, perform and produce all instruments and vocals myself (with the exception of "See You Soon" which features my old friend Carter Morr on the 2nd [lead] guitar).
Also keep in mind that the majority of these songs are 15-20 years old and were originally recorded with a Tascam 4-track cassette recorder then later transferred to digital.
My solo music here is pretty mellow and moody compared to what I like to do live but it makes for a good release... Thanks for reading.
