Native son to Savannah, Georgia, I have called Missouri, Pennsylvania, and now, North Carolina home. I began playing guitar and singing when I was thirteen and have loved it ever since. As with many singers, I began singing in church. My father, however, is an avid "rock and roll" lover and I was brought up listening to nothing but the greats in music.
The first album I ever wanted was one by KISS but my father said, " Son you don't want that. Here listen to this." "This" was an album by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. That was the beginning of learning to look for a depth in the music, not just the loudest sound or the fastest beat.
