Everyone has something that they are good at. Some people are great winners, some are great losers. I am a great writer. For me this is not about the money...it's about being heard, it's about making great music... it's about being remembered as the artist I was born to be. Take incredible stage presence, add in a one of a kind voice, mix that with true stories and the respect of an entire city and you get RIZ.
I have performed in a number of showcases and open mics in California, and Las Vegas. I love to perform, but only if there's a decent number of people at the venue. I am an unsigned local artist, so it's tough to fill venues in areas far from my home, but if I'm given enough advance time notice, small crowds are not a problem. Every battle is special to me, whether the rival mc is competition or not.
