When I saw your face

A love song...Lyrics should be singable from a bride to a groom or a groom to a bride as they look into eachothers eyes on the first dance at their wedding.
Born and raised in Fort Worth, TX, now living in Houston, Raybux is by far one of the premiere music producers of today. He is a superior songwriter and producer creating tracks in a diverse selection of genres including Jazz, Rap, Hip-Hop/R&B Blues, Gospel, and Contemporary. Armed with an arsenal of hit potential tracks, he is an up and coming publisher and someone to listen out for. Ray often blends sounds from different genres to attract a more diverse audience with the same song allowing inspiration to lead to crossover. In his spare time, Ray has also worked as a DJ for every type of music possible.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
No, mostly work with artists. " I play live at home !!"
Your musical influences
I grew up around music and come from a family of singers and musicians. Rap Music: Dr. Dre is one of the last truly creative producers around so I really enjoy the way his music has evolved over the years. Kanye West and Jazze Pha are doing a great job also. And don't forget Tone and Rock Wylda! I grew up playing in Marching bands and classical ensembles. I play trumpet and just about every other brass instrument plus I can read and write music. Jazz: I love straight ahead jazz and a little of the contemporary stuff too. I have every Miles Davis song ever recorded and most Coletrane cuts too. I prefer the old stuff, Bop and Cool! I like some Gospel Music and write songs for Gospel artists. R&B I'm into smooth R&B from the old school as well as the more urban R&B. I listen to all types of music and try to blend different flavors when I am creating tracks. When I watch movies, I pay close attention to the music. The placement, volume, chord structure, intruments, etc... all make a big impact on the movie. Sometimes I watch with the sound off and think of my own soundtracks. (Weird!)
What equipment do you use?
Roland XP-50, Pro Tools, Digital Performer, live bass, drums, guitars, pianos for high-end projects
Anything else?
“I’ve learned to recognize what “sound” gets people movin’. In a party or club environment, different people are attracted to different blends of sounds, tempos, etc...”
