Although Hey Jude has always been my favourite Beatles song (and I am a huge huge Beatles fan) I have never really understood the lyric completely until this version.....makes perfect sense to me now...thank you Wayne!!!

Hi Wayne! :) I had a little time today between all the hustling and bustling I do..I'd kept a late night last night; well, actually I picked up very late last night and delivered today..and was exhausted; so I've not got another load until tomorrow. The snow and ice has been something else...I'm in Indiana; and though it's not like New England; it was bad enough today. Thank you very much for coming by; I'd put Let Your Light Shine up before I left, and no time to promote...so, I guess it looks like a deep secret, LOL!! I'm glad you were blessed; to tell the truth, I'd sung it once a year ago when Kurt first wrote it; and was actually afraid to try it again, as I didn't think I had the vocal to really get after it, and do it justice. I couldn't seem to get it right, and I struggled until I just gave up, and we did the duet...and I'd thought that would be it. As I always say, I'm not such a great singer, but I love the Lord; and will do as I'm asked..and He'd dealt with me to try again...but practice more before I did it again. And you know, when the Lord encourages you to begin to once again attempt what you know as a human you can fail at; and He gets into the picture with you once again; really pushing you hard....you can do ANYTHING! This time, I gave the vocal everything I had..and STILL thought I'd failed, but at least this cut was better than the first one had been...plus, I'd discovered another way to sing the chorus..and add a line of harmony to what was already there to help balance out the male/female parts. The harmony that rounds out the final lines of the last verse was His idea to accent that part...In the end we WILL bow down before Him, and He will reveal His Grace to us. As the Bible says, "Every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess." Someone once told me that when I really got after it I could get it together; my confidence still isn't where it should be, though. As a human being, I don't feel that I accomplish that m
