Was a solo acoustic performer most of my career. Started performing with a band called Philadelphia Mint in Syracuse, NY at the age of 14. We were "discovered" by a local DJ, Happy Jack McNamee. Joined the late Jay Burrow as an acoustic duo, "Skye Blue" for several years, went solo until I joined with Alan Nasemann and Holly Abel to form "Trillium" and "Eargasm". Solo again after that, in Syracuse and St. Petersburg, FL. Retired from public performing in 2011 after a short stint with an oldies cover band, "Just In Time".
I no longer play due to a neurological condition in my left hand.
Musical influences are Chet Atkins, Leo Kottke, and a British bluesman, Beresford Taylor. Lyrically, my influences are Croce, Harry Chapin, and Paul Simon.
Nothing spectacular. When I performed, Peavey sound system, Takamine E-360 acoustic electric.
Thanks to anyone stopping by to listen to the old bear.
